Organization Description:
Cloudbridge is a private nature reserve located in Costa Rica's Talamanca Mountains, spanning an elevation range of 5,085–8,530 feet. Since 2002, the reserve has acquired 630 acres of former cattle pasture and cultivated land, along with 70 acres of primary forest. From the start, Cloudbridge has been committed to conserving and restoring the forest. As the reserve has grown, education and research have become central to its mission, helping to deepen understanding of this unique ecosystem, promote sustainable tourism, and address climate change.

Help Needed: Cloudbridge would like to request assistance in writing a grant proposal to develop a remote sensing study that will provide key information on the successional state of the forest, restoration efforts, springs within the reserve, trails, and the elevational gradient. This precise information will improve the quality of the research taking place at the reserve and allow them to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of the forest in the restored area, primary forest, and naturally regrown areas.
