Harnessing the power of pro bono to build the capacity of NGOs in the Global South
All over the developing world there are thousands of amazing nonprofit organizations doing great work – from protecting the environment to empowering women to improve their livelihoods and lift themselves out of poverty to providing low-income children and youth with the training they need to succeed in school and in life.
And in almost all popular tourist destinations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, a vibrant social sector of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are helping to fill gaps in basic services from education to health care. These inspiring change makers work in very low-resourced settings. Yet despite the odds, these scrappy social entrepreneurs have created innovative program models with measurable outcomes.
With a little support, these NGOs could take their proven program models to the next level of scale and impact. That’s where you come in.
If you would like to be of service while traveling abroad then please join us by lending your nonprofit skills and pay it forward to the next generation of social sector leaders.
