Men End FGM Foundation
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Organization Description:
Men End FGM is a global initiative that engages men and boys in the fight against female genital mutilation (FGM), child marriage, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Launched in 2013 by Tony Mwebia as the #MenEndFGM online campaign, it challenged activists and organizations to include men and boys in their efforts. Officially registered as Men End FGM Foundation in 2019, the movement has become a leader in campaigns against FGM, child marriage, and SGBV, drawing support from individuals and community-based organizations. The initiative also works to reshape negative masculinities and empower both girls and boys through mentorship and sensitization.

To achieve these goals, the organization seeks funding, as the current funding for gender equality in Kenya is decreasing. SEVA Travelers can assist by making recommendations to donors, suggesting innovative ways to target non-conventional donors like individuals, and providing support in proposal writing, developing MEAL strategies, and enhancing staff skills in these areas. The foundation appreciates assistance in proposal development, donor directory creation, innovative program design, and developing a clear MEAL plan.
