Organization Description:

WAG is a non-profit, volunteer-run initiative focused on improving the lives of dogs in Rwanda. The organization achieves this primarily through the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of abandoned dogs. WAG also promotes animal welfare and serves as a valuable resource for pet owners, advocating for humane dog population management and responsible pet ownership.

Help Needed: WAG is Rwanda's only dog rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming center, registered as an NGO. Beyond rescuing dogs, WAG is developing humane dog population management initiatives, community education, and working with the government on rabies elimination. They are seeking support to grow their fundraising capacity as they work to develop Rwanda's first Centre for Humane Dog Population Management. WAG needs guidance on effectively communicating their work and future goals, identifying new funding opportunities, designing MEAL systems for tracking progress and telling a compelling story to attract donors and partners.
