Femme International
Location: Moshi Town, Tanzania
Organization Description:
Femme International is a non-governmental organization working to break down the barriers caused by menstruation in East Africa. Menstruation often leads to missed school and work, limiting educational and professional opportunities while impacting self-esteem. The stigma surrounding periods reinforces gender-based inequalities in health, education, and income. Through education, dialogue, distribution, and research, Femme International is committed to empowering menstruators and ensuring they can fully access the opportunities they deserve.
